As a part of our intro to digital prototyping, we had the opportunity to 3D print salt and pepper shakers. This project was really about getting experimental and testing the capabilities of 3D printing. I gained experience about the difficulty of working with tensions and the many things that can go wrong when printing. My inspiration comes from flowers and the waving of petals that envelop each other.
